I have formed four companies to date. Most recently, I founded Omnity (www.omnity.io), a next generation search and discovery tool designed to enable knowledge workers to discover otherwise hidden patterns of interconnectedness within and between fields of knowledge to reveal unique insights that sharpen focus and drive innovation. Omnity democratizes access to powerful data mining and analytics technology that typically requires extensive consulting engagements and high fees, often costing hundreds of thousands of dollars. After four years in stealth mode, Omnity officially launched at CES 2016, with the commercial service launching in May 2016.

In 2002, I founded Nanosolar, a manufacturer of inexpensive solar panels enabled by nanotechnology, along with co-founder Martin Roscheisen.

In 1999, I started a management consulting firm, providing advisory services to the high technology and biotechnology industries worldwide.

In 1997, I started a record label, New Classical Music, which produces and distributes original classical music. This was augmented by a second label, Sonatronic, which produces and distributes original electronic music.
