“ Refreshing, beautiful, and just all around great! ;-) ” -Deep_nature77, Tokyo, Japan
“I just fell in love with your music” – Sebas,
“ Have heard this one before. Pretty sick, dark beats. I mean sick in a good way@! ”- Louis, San Leandro, CA,
“This is an epic sound. It grows really well…I like it very much. The music seems to tell a story through as it is constantly changing and almost creating an emotion, which is very clever! The beginning of the music is quite dramatic and catches your attention, drawing in the listener almost immediately. One of the most interesting pieces of music I have heard in a while!” – Anonymous feedback, 2011
Who knew that Classical and Electronic could blend so well? Who knows what other amazing integrations are waiting to be discovered? Probably Brian Sager. Keep your eyes peeled - I can't wait to see what's next! Great job, Brian! ![]()

I'm really excited about the ongoing marriage between electronic and acoustic music, and Soul Cipher ventures into some really interesting spaces. Recommended!

“An interesting piece of music that blends electronic dance music and the sound of symphony orchestras. It is very enjoyable to listen to, and very soothing. Very well produced and a pleasure to hear. – Anonymous feedback, 2011
“Really good progressive electronic. A nice blend of sounds and a very eerie backing all makes this potentially brilliant. I’ve added this to watch and give it some more listens. Pure brilliance” – Anonymous feedback, 2011
“This is a really interesting – it is very eclectics and blends a variety of sounds and instruments. I love its progressiveness and the end product. This is very well produced and to me sounds very distinctive to anything I’ve heard recently. Really well done.” – Anonymous feedback, 2011
Wow - what an amazing blend of electronic and classical... ![]()
...this sort of vision is way overdue. This is really intelligent music with a groove - maybe a new genre: classical IDM (!). Love the mix of the tight bottom end with lots of cohesive movement on top - a nice change from much of the disjointed and glitchy freneticism that makes up a good deal of the current mixes dominating the DJ scene. It is really refreshing when you can tell that a true musician is making the beats (vs. just a loop and sample deck jockey). I really hope to hear more from this guy.

Completely Original and a Revolutionary Sound
Being a musician myself, this revolutionary style of electronica is something I can totally dig, Fun and easy to groove to and very easy on the ears. Complex compositions over groovy beats. What's not to LOVE? Great job, Brian, and keep up the good work!
Can't Stop Dancing
I have never heard anything like this in my life. I am a huge lover of electronic music of all sorts. I like classical a bit but honestly don't know much about it. This music is getting me interested in learning more about classical. The tracks on this album make me smile and prevent me from sitting still in my seat....I have to dance! I'd like to hear more of this stuff!!

Fantastic!
Agree with the other reviews. Love the complexity and mix coming from a classical composer who also has a deep understanding of electronic music. A real treat in the in unique way in which these are blended together. Love it!

Reviews for Senses Rising

Deliciously Evocative
Kudos to Brian Sager and new Classical Music for this unique and deliciously evocative debut CD. A treat for the classic classical listener and the nubie alike.

Excellent Listening
Senses Rising is an exceptional album that is more enjoyable every time I listen to it. There are subtle notes sprinkled throughout that are discovered only by listening over and over. And what a treat it is to hear it. I do not consider myself a classical aficionado, but a do love a wide range of music and this is a classic in my mind. Bravo Brian!

Perfect Sense
Why "Senses Rising" ? I keep listening, while at work, while at leisure, while traveling, and it helps me in ways I can't say I'm entirely conscious of. "Mentally refreshing," would be an apt way to describe the music but that's too catchy. The music, tonal, melodic, is surprisingly *not* too catchy. Nor is it too Baroque, too Impressionistic, too Classical, too Modern. It's just as much of each of these as I happen to like. That's what I was secretly hoping for when I picked this cd up and I'm extremely pleased with what I got.

Provocative
Provocative. Evocative. Enticing. Alluring. The 'preview all songs' feature makes me want to listen to each and every song in it's entirety!
